It still shocks me when I remember queen Lizzie died 1-2 months ago and not last week
I feel as though the reason why khonshu seemingly is so strongly influenced with the idea of revenge is because of his play as the moon god- in the series he states that he remembers every night, but wouldn’t that mean he remembers every atrocity that happened under that night? The fall of countries, death and constant murder slowly eating away at him when he was first appointed his role, he went off the tracks of the gods and sought vengeance. The pain and suffering he himself witnessed was so heartbreaking to look at that he physically needed to do something- I feel as though that might be one of the major reasons he’s disliked by so many of the gods, because even as the god of time he strayed off his path seeking a brighter future for humanity
And unlike Ammit, khonshu sees no good in the murder of innocent who have yet to do no harm. Ammits techniques focused on killing the child ‘evil’ off at the root while khonshu focuses on justice. Unless he was to become like Ammit there was no practical way to save people before the atrocity.
Can we talk abt how over powered khonshu is? He’s the god of the moon, healing, protection,travelling (?), TIME and is also referred to as the “greatest of the great gods” like what?? KANG HIMSELF literally tracks down khonshu in the comics for his ability to manipulate time and khonshu himself travels throughout time in said comics. Just what?
He is referred to as never aging, in human form forever staying the age of a young man (which I depict as 17-18) imagine a teenager telling you he’s an extremely powerful god-
Lets not forget he can manipulate the sky- and I’m not referring to the atmosphere or some sort of illusion HE MOVED THE STARS. THE ACTUAL STARS??? WHAT ABOUT THE STARS THAT WITHIN THAT TIMEFRAME DIED OUT/EXPLODED???
