South African songstress and activist Khethi "travelling I explore the true meaning of my life"
Today as we stand in solidarity with friends, family and comrades of mine workers who were killed by South African police as they participated in a strike to call for respect of their labour rights at the Lonmin platinum mine in Marikana....
We are listening to South African sister singer Khethi "Even as the world is in crisis, Africa RISES....rebirth of a land of people viewing themselves as equals......its a domino effect,when you grow, I grow"...
So if we are going to grow, we have to keep uniting in our protest of brutality, of state forces that serve the interests of companies over people, of guns as a means of silencing dissent. To love the struggle is to love the people that you struggle with.
