Up next for this year I’d like to introduce the Earache Effects KHMUN (kəˈnuːm) Fuzz. KHNUM was a Ram Headed god of Egypt that was thought to be the creator of life, and with that I’d like to think the KHNUM Fuzz is breathing new life into what’s to come for Earache Effects. The KHNUM Fuzz is to me the almost perfect fuzz pedal. It’s smooth when you want it to be, dynamic with chords and doesn’t get mushy, loud, and down right nasty when you need it to me. The KHNUM Fuzz features BC550c transistors that give it those smooth and gainy characteristics. Like all Earache Effects fuzzes the KHNUM features the mids control switch that allows you to choose between boosted mids/traditional scooped mids/flat EQ. The KHNUM Fuzz gives you that traditional muff sound that also gives you the cut and dynamics that you sometimes need out of a muff. Like all Earache Effects pedals the KHNUM Fuzz is wired true bypass and runs on 9v power supply. I will be putting these as well as new Green Comrades and Civil Conflict fuzzes on my Reverb Store this week!
