A drawing I made of a Khon dancer. One of my friends recently gifted me this mask and because I thought it was so pretty, I wanted to draw it. Don't mind the right arm, it didn't turn out that great, but when I noticed how elongated it was, it was already too late to adjust it.

These new series of work was created because I wanted to explore more into Thai culture, particularly the beautiful traditional Thai dancing called 'Khon' that narrate the epic story of 'Ramakien' from Thai literature. This kind of dance consist of elegant hand and body movement and the dancer wears brightly colourful elaborate headdress, masks and costumes which I have attempted to capture in these series of illustrations.
