khr burning notes on the OCs I use (Rosie, Greg and Dr Naveed). Some random facts, a bit of their backstories that I fleshed out etc. Feel free to ask more questions about them!
She struggled with her own mental health problems and can relate to some of what Ethan/Skull is going through
She’s been a soldier in a war (not specified in detail) and struggled with PTSD and all that came with it
she still struggles with nightmares and has breakdowns and moments where her emotions are wildly out of control
She thinks of Ethan as her own son! She cares a lot about him and will fight for him (something he is not used to!)
Because of that, sometimes she gets really anxious, is she supporting him well? Is she too overbearing? Is she giving him everything she can?
She does her best to keep a positive outlook
She used to be very serious when younger, but after the war she wanted to stop people from giving her Those Looks(TM) so she put on a mask of a loud, happy person. With time, it became less of a mask, until it was how she truly felt! Sometimes you have to fake it ‘til you make it!
She can get very enthusiastic, very preachy and doesn’t realise that people sometimes don’t want advice. Sometimes people just want to vent.
For her, she can’t just listen, she needs to provide something to help the other person!
She drinks decaf tea before bed as a nightly ritual
Her parents died when she was young and she went from foster home to foster home
She experienced some very good families and some very bad ones
The bad ones made her want to be a foster parent, so she knew that there was at least one good foster family out there
She works with computers! She knows how they tick and can repair them very easily! She enjoys tinkering in her spare time :D
I imagine her as being over 45 years old
He has a quiet personality and can become overwhelmed if thrust into large crowds without preparation
Having said that, his panic can be over-ridden if someone he loves/cares about is in trouble
He loves his wife very much

He loves doing the laundry
He loves the fresh smell of it!
He works from home, I still haven’t developed this aspect of his backstory hmm
He was raised in a poor family, middle child of 5.
He spent his high school working part time and sends some of the money he earns now to his family
He was the responsible one along with the eldest
Whilst his parents were working full-time and his eldest sibling (Ann) spent most almost all of her high school working; he made sure that everyone got fed and managed the food at home
He broke up many arguments in his family
He loves taking care of his loved ones
He also loves Ethan a lot! And just like Rosie, thinks of him as his son
Rosie and him have fostered a number of children over the years
They adopted a few of them, who at this point are adults and living on their own
Ethan is the youngest they adopted (fostered at 4 years old and adopted at 5)
They are considering fostering another child soon
I imagine him as being over 45 years old
A qualified children’s psychologist
He cares for his patients a lot, to the point where he spends his time at home worrying about the kids, and has his phone on loud in case he is needed
He is single, but has a big supportive family
Whenever he is hit hard by a case, he sits with his grandmother and she sings to him
He also makes sure to hug all his cousins and tell them how much he loves them
He’s never dealt with a child like Ethan, and is worried the therapy isn’t helping him
And he was very young for a psychologist when he started seeing Ethan which makes him even more anxious
He’s around 35, which means when he got Ethan, it was not long after he finished his clinical internship
As most psychologists do, he does have his own psychologist who helps him deal with the emotional burden a psychologist carries
Usually, child psychologists are female, however that wasn’t going to stop Dr Naveed!
