Hibari, Xanxus, Tsuna and Reborn dealing with a s/o who's a vigilante by night (from the bat family) they don't touch the mafia, but others like robbers and murderers do her caught. Thank you! Love you guys!
Kyoya has been hearing of some new vigilante scouring the streets in the night for a long time, but he hadn’t really thought to connect the vigilante with you.
He had even less of an opinion about the vigilante simply because they were not making waves in the mafia underworld, mostly skirting the lines of civilian and low-level criminals.
Thus, Kyoya decided, that they were of no consequence outside of criticizing how the vigilante is rough around the edges in terms of fighting.
He doesn’t quite understand why you keep asking advice on how the vigilante could have fought better, and if he could show you how, but he supposed it was a good lesson in self-defence. After all, the vigilante can’t be everywhere at once and being the partner of a man from the mafia, even less so.
When he finds you with bruises, Kyoya sort of assumes it’s from him. He’s not the gentlest sort of teachers, after all, and more of a physical taskmaster than Reborn. Kyoya wants you to be at the top best form and he will make it so.
Though when you begin to leave the bed in the middle of the night, never suspecting that Kyoya had awoken from your movements, watching as you dressed in a fitting black suit and away you went, that is when questions begin to arise and not the most positive either.
When he comes face to face with the truth, Kyoya is honestly pretty understanding, strangely enough.
He sees your vigilante tendencies as something similar to his patrolling, so he has no real troubles with you going out in the night and attacking robbers or murderers, etc.
After all, if Kyoya could do it, why shouldn’t you? The fact you weren’t even going after those in the mafia helped too, Tsuna had nothing to complain about. Even less when Kyoya decides to up the ante in your hunting skills for more effective takedowns and beatdowns of idiots who wouldn’t STAY down.
He’s being a nice, wonderful, lover you see.
Kyoya will never accept the costumes though (dammit Reborn, stop filling their heads with LIES). He doesn’t find them effective in the least and would prefer that you be able to actually see from all sides, so put down that mask or so help him, GOD.
Tsuna doesn’t give him anymore looks when you effectively saved his wife from a hostage situation in a bank. Though the wife can’t look at anything even remotely bat-related after it’s been said and done. For some odd reason, she keeps breaking down into hysterics.
Your moral compass is a little suspect considering the fact you’re dating one of the leaders of the most well-known assassination groups of the mafia.
You didn’t particularly care that the mafia was filled with even more cockroaches than the civilian criminals you dealt with on a daily basis. You only cared to stop the crime that the mafia deemed too simplistic and easily crushable, the kind that you knew very well can swarm under with little trouble simply because the higher criminals didn’t think it worth their time.
They were they greater annoyance to you, the ones you held no love over and wanted them gone.
When Xanxus finds out about your vigilante works, he’s both curious and a little confused, unable to understand why you were worrying more over the civilian criminals (of robbers, murderers, and the like) when the Mafia is a cesspool of the worst of the worst.
Shouldn’t you want to take those type of people down instead?
Nope. You had a vendetta against the criminals you went after.
He wasn’t certain what for, you were particularly tight-lipped about it. But he supposed if it made you happier, less likely to try and stab him with a stray broken bottle, then he didn’t really care.
Will give tips in how to effectively eradicate the mice. You take it to heart, but prolong it as long as possible, after all, what would be left of you if the civilian criminals refused to fight back?
“Tsuna, it’s me, Giotto, from the grave, telling you to go back to your vigilante roots.”
Honestly, Tsuna kind of knew that you had a habit of chasing down civilian criminals, but he didn’t expect it to be such a high-stakes thing you wanted to do for the rest of your life.
It didn’t seem… the most ideal, after all. Even more so since you were dating a mafia boss (he wasn’t one of the good guys, and hadn’t been for a long time), the biggest sort of criminal the world had to offer.
But you didn’t particularly care about the mafia, instead, sniffing out the more immoral civilians of the streets with a determined, dark glimmer in your eyes.
When he told you to please cease the vigilante business, informing you that he was mafia, and it just isn’t right to be doing the things you were doing while being with him.
It was hypocritical after all, and what would occur if someone found out?
You kind of just gave him a quiet, contemplative sort of stare the whole night. Never once saying anything back, not a single word trying to defend your strange hobby…
Tsuna really thought it would be the end of it.
He did not take into account your stubbornness and single-minded need and thus continued to fight crime and becoming an interesting icon within the civilian and mafia minds.
Tsuna is frustrated as hell, and kind of wonders if you’re doing this on purpose.
He just doesn’t understand that you really don’t care what he does. Love does strange things to a person, blinds them to what they know. But you knew very well what he did was wrong, but you also knew that compared to him, he was a kinder criminal.
He was nothing, you assured yourself, to those you went after.
The people who had no restrictions, no thoughts of who they touched and who they killed.
When you get hurt one night, badly enough to need medical attention, you never once thought about what would occur. You never once thought that while Tsuna might not like your odd vigilante tendencies, he would really not like when you got hurt.
If criminals became less likely to want to wound you after, you never once thought to ask Tsuna.
After all, Tsuna, to you, was the better person. No matter what he did.
Reborn, for all he is the World’s Greatest Hitman, did not immediately realize that you might be a vigilante. The thought never even crossed his mind for a single second when he had first gotten together with you.
He would have noticed it sooner if it were not for the odd times of his missions corresponding to when you were out and about in the shadows of the night hunting down the civilians who were toeing the line of criminal.
What he does know is that sometimes you couldn’t sleep, and that sometimes you would stay up restlessly throughout the night, and that sometimes when he came back he would find you soundly in bed, if only with odd bruises littering your skin. Dark purple splotches in shapes of hands and fists, the kind Reborn knows are meant to hurt and keep someone down to the ground.
Reborn boils at the idea someone had been hurting you, and he becomes frustrated that you don’t even say a word.
When one night, it wasn’t just skin being bruised, but an actual wound, of skin torn away and blood, seeping through clothing. Reborn does what he does best. He puts on a disguise and follows you. He is not going to let his partner continue whatever idiotic thing they were doing.
When he realizes you’re a vigilante he is bordering between amused and incredulous.
How the hell did he end up with a vigilante for a partner???
It might have been from when you slammed that two-tone piece of cake from a neighbouring table into someone’s face when they got a little too handsy with you. Or it could have also been just as easily when he had found you using a stuffed toy bat to choke the life out of someone who had been trying to hurt a pregnant woman.
Please don’t give the toy to the crying lady, she will not appreciate the almost murder weapon.
He’s kind of impressed by your survival skills.
As impressed as he is though you better believe he’s going to train you to be an even better vigilante. He does not want you hurt anymore, bruises too wide and violent that you whimpered when barely touched, wounds so heavy that you bleed on the floor.
If Tsuna cries in the background when you blast into his office, sighting that it was on Reborn’s orders and that you were very sorry that you had blown half the building, well it wasn’t his problem.
Reborn will 100% enjoy when he puts you into costume, he’s the king of cosplay after all.
“Stop putting them in a costume, Reborn! Batman doesn’t exist!” Well, of course, Reborn knows Batman doesn’t exist, Dame-Tsuna. But his lover really likes bats and he had sworn he’d turn you, tiny little bat child, into a beautiful fighting vigilante machine.
Everyone in Vongola knows you, either by face or by costume and don’t really react anymore when Reborn sends you off to keep Tsuna on his toes.
Tsuna does suspect though, that when Reborn begins filtering his missions, that he was making sure to keep an eye on you. Reborn worried in his own ways after all.
