Mukuro’s “mark” is Chrome. I am a horrible person, I know. Chrome was supposed to feed on Mukuro’s spiritual energy after gaining his trust and stuff. Also, Mukuro comes from a shit family so he’s rather paranoid and doesn’t trust easily. Obviously, it’s gonna be hard for Tsuna and Enma to talk Mukuro into believing that Chrome’s made from the mysterious masked man’s evil plans. Chrome is terrified of Tsuna and Enma and the two don’t like Chrome at first, but they eventually grow to respect her and stuff because while she’s been with Mukuro, she’s grown her own thoughts and all and now wants to protect Mukuro instead. In the end, she sacrifices herself for Mukuro to live.
Dino is his turtle? Maybe. Or it’s a charm like Tsuna’s that makes him less clumsy and stuff.
Hibari???
Byakuran’s “mark” is a ring (Mare Ring lol). Not too sure what it does. The problem with Byakuran is that he doesn’t want to be Like The Other Boys. He wants to be a special snowflake, or a dandelion in this case. The ring probably somehow helps with that? I’m not too sure. He just feels like he’s meant to be more. And then Tsuna and Enma come along and help him.

Basil is maybe the son of the police chief of the town or something. He’s going to be a police like his father as well. When he sees Enma and Tsuna sneaking around, he joins them, thinking that they are up to weird things. Well, he wasn’t wrong, but the thing is some ultra weird thing and he kind of bit off more than he can chew. He still tries his best to help Enma and Tsuna. Unlike them, however, he cannot afford to slack in his studies or arouse his father’s attention. He really likes Shakespeare and kind of quotes him all the time. Tsuna and Enma don’t really mind. In fact, they actively learn Shakespeare in order to try and understand Basil’s references. Basil helps them with their academics.

Iemitsu and Nana moves into a new house in a town in the middle of goddamn nowhere. Why is Iemitsu finally home? no on eknows
Iemitsu: You’ll make a lto of new friends here tsu-kun!
Tsuna: Like real i can’t make friends because i am clumsy and will mess everything up
Iemitst: hahaha tsukun ur so funny. (totally dismisses tsuna’s fears and emotions to be happy w/ nana at the new house)

they go into the house and tsuna gets the room that overlooks a creepy forest. the temp inthe room is also eternally cold for some reason .
tsuna: ther eis literally somethng wrong here pls help
his parents ignore him, treating his concerns as “nnormal teenage things”
tsuna: im going shopping for new parents bye
leave the house. parents did not bother to listen to him, too busy making googoo eyes at each other
on the way to the store so he can buy comics or something to escape reality, he bumps into the probable romantic interest a red haired boy with lots of bandages

he passes by a young girl who’s lost and crying. he helps her go to her house, not paying attention to where they are, until they find themselves literally outside a graveyard and tsuna is mega spooked

The girl thanks him and gives him a charm. she says it’ll keep him safe. He thanks her and examines the charm. when he looks back up from the charm, she’s gone. Totally spooked, he runs back home without buying anything.
That night, he dreams of weird things. He almost dies in the dream and jerks awake up, really cold. In his hand is the charm .
He goes to school and normal transfer student things happen. his seatmate is, surprise surprise, Enma. Enma is as sociable as ever. Later, we see Enma getting bullied. Tsuna saves him by his wonderful bagthrowing skills. Ennma finally talks to him.
They are paired up for a project or something wtv.
Fast forward a few days of horrible dreams, Tsuna accidentally leaves his charm in enma’s house. tsuna encounters with a ghost (Reborn, calls him dame-tsuna) who is v. angry with him for being tricked by a horrible person. the charm is a Bad Charm and will slowly sap the life source of the holder. Tonight, the evil person is going to come take the holder of the charm away tonight and Tsuna panics because ENMA!!
And then he and reborn go save enma from havinG HIS SOUL STOLEN
Epic battle with Tsuna trying to protect Enma and Reborn fighting off the MYSTERIOUS MASKED MAN. Tsuna and Enma run for their lives. The masked man is like “im too tired to deal w/ this shit im gonna have to take a rain check on stealing your stolen ttyl” and vanished. Enma asks wtf that is and Tsuna is confused as well. Reborn starts to explain that the masked man is a shitstick who wants to collect as many powerful souls as possible for some weird thing. And reborn was one of those souls, but he could fight back and now the masked man only has part of his soul. There are seven others and they really want their soul back so that they can finally die and move on.
Reborn says that it’s in their beest interest to defeat the masked man together because now he’s gonna want tsuna and enma’s souls as well and so they gotta work together if they want to leave. Tsuna and enma reluctantly agree because what else can they do?
And so Reborn tells them about the other people who have been ‘chosen’ by the masked man, and they gotta save those people because the masked man marks his victim in mysterious ways. for tsuna it was a charm. who knows what the others have? They just need to take the mark away and burn it in fire. And hence, Tsuna and Enma’s adventure in saving people’s souls start. or something.
honestly, this took a very unexpected turn. i really can’t touch anything without developing a plot for it, can it?
(the other people are xanxus, squalo, byakuran, dino, hibari, mukuro. I think they’re the people chosen to face jaeger and bermuda in the alliance team, right? aka the people my headcanon says is most likely to be the next gen of arcobaleno)
Later on Basil joins Tsuna and Enma in the investigation-protection. (hyper trio!!)
