He made it his goal to discover the secrets of blood mutations, and his ambitions led him straight into the Empress' court. He quickly became her favorite, and only, geneticist, saved from the culling fork with promises to enhance her military. And to keep him on track, she even caught a fancy little blood mutant to use as his carrot - a mutant he eventually came to love. Unknown to him, that same mutant would lead to his downfall.
