Day 2: Devotion / Academy / Flight

You’re back. “I am,” Khun agrees. He shakes off the feathers, and Bam catches them in his ever-shifting swirls of darkness that form his body, melting the white and blue into the stream with what sounds like a petulant sound. “If you liked that disguise so much, you can always remake it for me,” Khun chuckles. “Did that hunter taste good?” His skin was tough. But satisfactory. “Noted. I’ll try to get someone younger next time, maybe. I overheard someone saying they were going deer hunting in a few days. I’m sure I can lure them here too.” He pats a sliver of darkness, and Bam’s body lights up in red, affectionate and possessive. “I’m sure you can make me a nice disguise for that, can’t you?” Bam purrs. Whatever you wish, dear.

My idea for this piece is consumption as a form of devotion, to be devoured and become one with his beloved. Thus, the blood on his body and how his neck is positioned between something resembling jaws. Anyhow, I think Ath did great at combining both drawings into a coherent story. And ofc I have to include eldritch!Bam in one of kbw entries. Design inspired by TSHD ✌ Happy ToG's 16th Anniversary 🎉
