i just discovered that my brain can be tricked into focusing for a little bit if i write one or two sentences once in a while and one guilty pleasure i've developed thanks to an au is the crossover ship between khun from tog and noya from haikyuu so fuck it here's a mini (incomplete 'cause i'm not gonna copypaste everything) list that's literally called: noya & khun being low-key bfs material to one another in the drafts:
"if i scoot over even a little bit more i might as well go sit in khun's lap. wait! khun, d'you mind?"
"me and khun work well together because he's crazy smart and i call him out on his bullshit! also, we got each other's backs," nishinoya said, easy as that. to which khun hummed from where he was sprawled and added, "he's a stubborn nuisance who rarely does as he's told, but i couldn't get rid of him even if i tried and he gets things done, so i endure."
she had tried to ask khun, but all that he had said was that they only needed to wait it out, before laying down with his arms crossed and his head pillowed on nishinoya's lap, the latter too busy talking animatedly with michiru to pay him any mind.
nishinoya looked up and grinned over the hole in the ground, pleased and confident and a little smug. khun raised an eyebrow across from him, and pinched the tip of his nose in retaliation, which only resulted in the brunette snorting and him getting his hand swatted away.

"of course there isn't," nishinoya said without missing a beat. "i'm pan, not straight."
nishinoya and khun butted heads from time to time, their personalities couldn't not clash given how different they were. but even when yuu had literally butted their foreheads together and snapped to get a grip and stop being cryptic they had always found somewhere to meet in the middle.
