We have been waiting to talk about this as long as we've had a podcast, so strap in for a lot of excited yelling. We are gabbing all about our favorite reality show, We Got Married and passionately defending our obsession. “Where had the time gone?”, Victoria thought to herself as she sat on her balcony, sipping her jasmine tea. It felt like it was just yesterday that she’d met Nichkhun and that they’d starred on We Got Married together. Although the program was meant to be a virtual marriage, it had developed into something special for the two of them. To her, it was a blissful time she got to share with Nichkhun despite their busy schedules. She recalled the moment she first met him. He was a year younger than her and so her natural thought was: “he’s cute”. But she soon realized that he had many other sides to him. He was taller than her, stronger than her and often a lot more mature than her. He made her feel safe. He made her laugh. He made her happy. She remembered the first time they kissed. Not the time that their fans had seen during the program, but the one they shared behind the scenes. Nichkhun had pulled her aside after filming one day. He looked serious and Victoria was worried that something bad had happened. “I love you”, he had boldly told her. Not expecting his confession, she blushed and subconsciously crinkled up her nose to hide her shock and slight embarrassment at the situation. Nichkhun, noticing her reaction, laughed at how cute she was. Watching him laugh made Victoria feel at ease and before she knew it, she had kissed him. It was now Nichkhun’s turn to be shocked. His ears became red and he scratched his head in astonishment. “Were you not expecting this to happen when you confessed to me?”, she had said to him cheekily. Snapping out of his stupor, he replied: “Well, I was hoping to make the first move but I guess you beat me to it. Won’t be the first time that’s happened, huh?”. “Nor the last, I’m sure”, she said as she leaned closer to his body. Nichkhun smiled. He gently grabbed her waist and pulled her in even closer. Victoria remembered the sensation she felt when their lips locked. It was completely different to the kisses they’d shared in front of the cameras. All the tension that had been building up between them poured out in that moment. Just thinking about it made Victoria smile to herself. “Qian”, she heard someone call from inside her home. Looking back, Nichkhun was rushing out to the balcony. “You shouldn’t be sitting outside like this”, he said, placing a thick blanket on her. “What if you catch a cold? That wouldn’t be safe for you or the baby”. He kneeled down next to her and placed a kiss on her belly. “What would I do if something happened to you”, he worried. “We’re alright”, she said softly as she draped her arms around him, “We have you to warm us up after all”.
