I really reworked hard on the outfits and the keyblade tbh (though I’m still not sure about smaller Izuku’s outfit/colors, the bigger one is nice though)
So here are some extra ideas below
Izuku used to wear a ‘hero’ cape during his adventures but eventfully stops when he doesn’t need the ‘image’ of a hero.
Ever since he started his adventure he’s always written in a journal
His keyblade ‘Soaring Hope’ is a keyblade that can give its users/party members hope in even the darkest of times.
Older Izuku always keeps a stock of Healing/Elixir Potions.
His Gummi Ship rarely runs out of smiles/fuel
He dreads seeing the three fairies cause they always put him in cute outfits
He has been told that if he was born a girl he would had a chance to be a Princess of Heart cause of how bright his is
He accidentally pulls an Aqua and gains an apprentice. (when he’s back on his homeworld)
I like the idea of Keyblader Izuku so I’m gonna share this. (Might redo the keyblade later though, not really happy with it soooo....) (Also if you wanna know the story behind this idea, its down below but you don’t have to)
!WARNING I WROTE A LOT!
So Izuku becomes a keyblader around the age of 8 (He had gotten into a somewhat fight with Bakugou (-CoughMorelikeBakugouwasbullyingIzuku-cough-) and after Bakugou leaves Izuku alone. Izuku is found by a lost Heartless (that had felt Bakugou anger and Izuku loneliness/hopelessness but also saw the bright and shinning heart he had despite it being dormant (Because honestly that boy has a heart of freaking gold.)) and is attacked by the creature.
Izuku tries to escape and nearly does but the Heartless jumps on him and it opens a doorway into darkness to make sure Izuku can’t escape (Like how Sora was almost swallowed by the darkness in KH1) and it takes him away from his home world. Izuku panics (Badly, like to the point he believes he’ll die before this ‘creature’ can kill him badly) as he is swallowed up into darkness. Then he thinks of his dreams, his hero All Might, Kacchan, and his mother, he doesn’t want to die.
And the light in his heart that had been dormant awakens.
The light destroys the Heartless that was holding him and because light was shining in the pathway to darkness, the light opened a path out and it dropped Izuku into another world (I’m thinking it sent him to either Merlin, Yen Sid, King Mickey, or someone that knows about Keybladers and Heartless etc etc.)
Izuku wakes up a day or so later and upon waking up the person who found him begins to explain what happened, because (He?She?They?) had felt Izuku’s bright heart enter this world and had seen him pop out of a pathway of darkness and knew that he had been attacked by a Heartless. (Cue Izuku freaking out over the fact he almost had his heart taken away) Izuku is also told that it was attracted to his pure heart and that because of its light there was a huge chance of Izuku being a Keyblade Wielder (My head-cannon is there are 3 ways of becoming a Keyblade Wielder but one of the ways was if someone’s heart is pure and strong enough it can create a keyblade, its a rare thing but it can happen) The person Izuku was with then offers to teach him how to use that power because if he doesn’t more Heartless (and other dangerous beings) will come after him for his heart and raw power.
Izuku of course wants to go home, back to his mom and his world but stops when he finally thinks it over and can’t bare the thought of basically being a beacon for evil to discover his world and putting innocent people endanger.
So he agrees to the training.
And thus begins his journey.
Here’s some side notes (Most are before and during KH1):
Sora and the others do exist in this, its just Izuku’s story begins before theirs do.
His keyblade is called Hope’s Growth. (Might change that but I think it fits)
He loves being a Keyblade Wielder because it helped him realize that he doesn’t need a quirk to be a hero, his own heart is more than enough.
He loves traveling to different worlds and meeting the people who live there (He also keeps notes on each world he visits and the people there)
He really loves helping out the different worlds and people (His dream of being a hero still shines strong and so what if his job is sometimes thankless (World Order and junk like that), he sleeps happily knowing innocent people are safe.)
Merlin has taught Izuku magic and enjoys the fact that Izuku soaks up knowledge like a sponge (And Merlin can see that Izuku has the bearings of a great Keyblade Wielder)
Izuku is friends with Leon and his groups when they were still in Traverse Town and admires their strength to keep going despite the fact they had lost their world.
Izuku (Age 12) meets Sora (14), Donald, and Goofy during their second visit to Traverse Town when they go to give Merlin his book.
Sora is surprised to find another Keyblade Wielder but becomes instant friends with the younger green haired boy.
Sora eventually asks during a moment of peace (after saving Traverse Town and locking the keyhole up) why he wasn’t the one chosen to save the worlds? Which Izuku admits that the keyblade Sora wields is a powerful one because of all the people that had wielded before him and that because Sora is adding his own light to locking the worlds the lock is more strong thus keeping the ‘inner worlds’ (Worlds closer to the realm of darkness) safer. Izuku’s keyblade is still ‘new’, strong yes but if a more powerful darkness was to attack his lock it could break hence why he normally locks away ‘outer worlds’ (Worlds far away from the realm of darkness) until his keyblade is strong enough.
When Sora and the others were leaving, they had offered Izuku to come with them but he declined saying he needed to check the outer worlds and make sure the darkness isn’t getting a foothold there but promised to meet up with them soon, Izuku also gave Sora some advice he himself had been given during his training's.
“Sora don’t forget this. If you ever doubt yourself about being a wielder, DON’T. You were chosen because of your heart, believe in it and yourself.”
Izuku knows that there had been a Keyblade War and that many lives were lost, a book he had found in Yen Sid’s library had it written but the wizard stopped him from reading more.
Izuku does meet back up with Sora, Donald, and Goofy and helps them in a few worlds.
Sora talks to Izuku about his home, his parents, Kairi, Riku, their dream of exploring worlds, etc etc. Izuku just smiles before a longing look enters his eyes.
And when Sora admits about being homesick, Izuku hugs him a little tighter.
Sora and Izuku see each other as brothers now.
Upon finally getting to meet Kairi (after saving her in Hollow Bastion and escaping back to Traverse Town for a breather) Izuku grew mega shy talking to her because he doesn't normally talk to girls around his age.
Izuku still mutters when in deep thought.
And still cries when scared out of his mind or super sad or just very grateful over having such wonderful friends.
Izuku was also one of the last people to forget Sora, Donald, and Goofy when they were put to sleep by Namine. (And when the memories of his friends returned he felt terrible for forgetting them)
When he turned fourteen, the three fairies (Flora, Fauna, and Merryweather) made his current traveling outfit and they gave him a bunny hood because they all agreed, for the first time ever, that he is as cute as a bunny (Which of course embarrasses him to no end)
Izuku often dreams of going home to see his mother and let her know he’s okay.
But is scared to do so for taking so long.
He does go home one day by accident only to see Kacchan staring at him in disbelief.
