While it may seem a bit frivolous, the memory of my omma’s cooking never fails to make me smile. I seriously miss her homemade kimchi, kimbap, and samgyetang.

Other than my stomach from being empty and my head throbbing from this migraine that’s forming, nothing on my body hurts. Maybe my heart hurts sometimes, but that just lets me know I’m still alive and feeling something.

I once got coffee from a local cafe in the Hongdae area and some girl spilled it on me just as I was about to return to my room in Cheonguk Apartments. Needless to say I was anything but happy.
