24. KIAN ALVANE (DREAMFALL CHAPTERS)
Kian Alvane is one of the playable characters in the second and third game of the Dreamfall Chapters trilogy. In the second game (Dreamfall: The Longest Journey) he only has a small role, but he is one of the main protagonists of game three (Deamfall Chapters). Kian Alvane is a soldier, introduced as an antagonist in game two, from a land of people who fear and suppress magic. Through the two games, Kian will go through a big character journey, and will challenge what he learnt and how to interact with the world around him. He is also a gay man, and while there is no romance, his sexuality is discussed in game three (while interacting with enemies turned ally; Likho, who is also a gay man).
The games are adventure (and puzzles, but game three has less puzzles than the other two) with some dialogue choices
