FLINK: Are you a night owl or morning bird?

“i’m a night owl, for sure.” she answers, with complete certainty in her voice and nodding gesture. “work ends around one in the morning, or the earliest is midnight, so when i get home, i sleep the morning away most of the time.” finding hyerin awake early in the morning is a surprise that is accompanied by a short-tempered hyerin. her work hours have made her incapable of functioning as properly as she would in the afternoon and night.

my mind. {&; the answer is quick and matter-of-fact, perhaps so hastily put together to prevent anyone from realizing he doesn’t have weapons-- beyond his intelligence and knack for strategy, he is ultimately useless. if he blunders and allows an enemy to stand face to face with him, it will be an automatic loss. thankfully, he’s managed to avoid such situations so far, and when he hasn’t, manages to get away with little consequences. he pretends it’s his ability entirely, though he knows that many times, it’s just as much luck, but he proceeds with as much bubbling, false confidence as always } i don’t need anything else.

{&; everything. nothing. what kind of question is this? one without an answer. he hates questions without answers-- anything undecided and uncertain. he rolls his eyes, and sighs in exasperation, clearly without the patience for these matters } i want to improve. i want...to feel safe in my own apartment-- in my own skin, even. i want to be free, but i want to be the best. i want to quit, but i want to win. what do you want? are you done bothering me?
