I've been meaning to post these for awhile.

A couple months ago, I was shown @kicktwine 's Lalafell designs (check these three posts! i love them very much), and I thought it was a really delightful look.

I love the interpretation, especially given how fun Lalafell lore can be (🤝 the "adaptable desert mammal" spin), and I just had to draw my Boy™ like this.

So here's Anri, looking a lot mousier than usual.

Wonder who that cutie is in the new update? Why it’s the wonderful Echo! @kicktwine was nice enough to let me borrow their wonderful keykid for the reboot of the comic!

Echo is another trainer who works alongside Ephemer and Skuld to do recon missions along the borders of the Dark clan territory. They are highly dependable, somewhat unpredictable, and always ready to help their friends however they can. One of the newer members of the Dawn’s Breaking faction, Echo promises to do what they can to keep the peace and help Sora find their missing friend.

"He had a lot to figure out in a very short time if this was to go any way except fuckwards sideways" is such a FANTASTIC phrase, not to mention all the other Very Good Sentences, i absolutely love how describing it in the peripheral it makes it worse. my hackles are straight up and the final scene is not smoothing them down heehoo

BUT YEAH! The whole first section was a LOT of fun to write because ANY rules of grammar or English went out the window. We’re in disaster-man-meltdown-mode and “fuckwards sideways” is ASBOLUTELY acceptable prose.

and then the final scene was just a very rude interruption to the regularly scheduled disaster-man-meltdown

type:null and silvally are my Babies Yes it’s a (minimal spoilers) synthetic pokemon made to kill ultra beasts and it can change into any type it wants given a type memory via the RKS system. also its helmet is there to keep it from going berserk from the stress of the system used to change its type. also it evolves based on friendship. he was made in a lab to be your incredibly powerful puppy friend
