Darcy wasn’t sure what had happened. One minute she was helping Jane out in the lab the way she always did anymore, then she started to feel weird and the next minute she was a little kid again. Jane had sat her down in a chair by the window and very firmly told her to, “Just stay there and don’t touch anything.” While she might suddenly be a child again, that didn’t mean she appreciated being treated like one. Still, she sat in the chair and swung her legs while listening to Jane calling someone for help.

“It’s about Darcy. Something happened… No, she’s fine as far as I can tell. She’s just a child… She’s literally, physically a child, I mean. No more than ten… No, I don’t know what happened. I don’t know what to do. I figured you might know someone who would be able to help… Yeah, great. Thank you.”

Darcy didn’t know who Jane was talking to, but she couldn’t say she particularly liked the way what she could hear of the conversation had gone. As far as she could tell, it seemed like someone was going to be coming to bring her somewhere else. Hopefully to someone who would be able to help her instead of just experimenting on her. So she sat and waited.

By the time she heard the door to the lab open, Jane retrieved her some of her snacks from the lab’s mini-fridge. She looked up from her pudding cup to frown at the woman who had just walked in. “Seriously? Coulson?"

"This sucks," Darcy muttered, pouting and tugging at the hem of her t-shirt. Well, it was a t-shirt on her when she actually had her normal, twenty-three year old body. Stuck in a body she guessed was maybe around ten or younger, the shirt fit her more like a dress. "They're going to find a way to fix this, right?"

It seemed like weird things were always bound to happen in Darcy's life, but this had to be on of the absolute weirdest. Trust SHIELD to be keeping an eye on her and do - as far as she could tell - absolutely nothing to try to stop whatever magic it was that had done this to her. When the world stopped spinning, there was an agent towering over her. "Oh, great," she muttered.

Big Darcy||Natasha

The day had been a full day for the little girl. She started out playing tag with Thor, ended up shopping and going to the park with Tony, and finally ended up with Natasha, Bucky, and Alexander at the end of the day. She and Alex were watching tv, and she was fighting to keep her eyes open to pay attention to the movie.

Darcy yawned, stretching her arms above her and wrinkling her nose. "I'm tired." She said. "I tink it's seepies time." She smiled at Alex then stood up, heading out of the room. She walked over to Natasha and pulled on her shirt. "Nat? Miss Nat? I tired." She frowns. "I dun wanna be, but my eyes dey dun wanna stay open, even when I hold dem open." She holds her arms up, gesturing for Nat to pick her up.
