Lena: sorry wasn't really awake earlier. Had a rough night. Following a rough week. I'll be at Issy's for a while if you need me.

HAYLEY: If I was a bit more selfish I would have kept you here longer
HAYLEY: aka I miss you and I hope you're resting that ankle!

Lena: had been a little upset that Oliver had gotten to see Dali before she had. Hearing her son talk of the woman she often talked about in the form of the girl she'd known as a teen was odd. Thus, she'd taken a chance and texted Dali, asking if she wanted to meet up at the river. When she'd gotten the confirmation, she'd been more than a little excited. After telling her mom, Issy, and the kids that she'd be back later, she'd slipped out the door, skateboard in hand. It'd been a while since she'd skateboarded the streets and sidewalks of Lima, and something about it felt nice. Arriving to the area of the river she'd told Dali about, she took a seat, looking out over the water. She normally brought Oliver to this spot, telling him about the times her and Dali would spend there. Part of her hoped Dali would actually show and hadn't changed her mind last minute.

HAYLEY: wasn't sure what to expect when she had offered to have Daliah stay over at her house for the night, not wanting the younger woman to be home alone especially when she hated it so much. She had given her a piggy back ride back to her house, not wanting her to hurt her ankle anymore than she already had, before setting her down on her bed and heading to the kitchen to make hot chocolate. She had come back to her friend asleep, smiling to herself and curling up around her before turning in for the night herself. Waking up to her still being there had only made her smile more, not wanting to move in fear of disturbing her even as her finger subconsciously started to run through her hair.
