I don’t think you ever said but I do enjoy your posts and clips. I was wondering how do you rank the turtles from favorite to least favorite? if you have a least favorite that is.
Thnaks, I don't think I ever mentioned about which turtle is my favourite.
Raph
Leo
Mikey
Donnie
That's my ranking for the 2003 turtles. What about yourself?
Finally did my girl Dodger
Did I get lazy and hide bother her hands? Yes lol
Also at some point I should do her disguise outfit with her Kusarigama
I originally made her when I was 8 after I watched the first live action movie on VHS Lol
Over the years I have tweaked her design and her story. She is so fun.
I'm just realizing Raphael doesn't really know Usagi nor kind of Mikey so
and also re thinning it
they didn't do much on interaction
so must been kind of awkward with the Christmas episode 😂😅
Big hug today for anyone who needs it. 💙💜
looking to know the most about tmnt? here are michelangelo's favorite comics throughout the shows.
I was wondering something since you think 07 and 03 Leo were both right in different reasons like Leo during CAW do you think 07 and 03 Raph were wrong then or are they right? Just curious sorry if this sounds argumentative
i don't think it sounds argumentative at all! i love exploring these characters' motivations! <3 also there's no real "right" answer; it's just my opinion after all. :)
i think 03Raph is logically correct in his stance in the CAW arc. where he erred was in failing to listen to his brother about why he felt the way he did, and instead immediately attacking and going on the offensive. but he always does this. 03Raph is very good at mishandling delicate situations. (he doesn't always mishandle delicate situations, but when he does, he's very good at it!)
to him, Leo's decision to get involved in the war seemed counterintuitive to the brother he'd known all his life. why wouldn't Leo want to protect his family's safety and stay out of a large war? it's just the five of them; they can't do anything! but Leo had his reasons, and they were good ones, but they were still high-stakes. Raph only came around when he realized every single other member of his family was getting involved, too, and he was the odd man out. i fully believe that if the rest of the family thought Leo was crazy, then they would continue trying to convince Leo to stop and Raph wouldn't have changed his mind.
i also think the only reason his other brothers and friends joined leo was because they are all so close that they can't bear the thought of one of them fighting a solo battle. when Leo made it clear that he wasn't going to come home, the others really didn't have a choice but to help him, so they went along with Leo. (except for Raph of course, who stormed off. and when Splinter realized his other sons were also fighting, he also bit the bullet and joined the fray, too, convincing Raph to come along because they would need to be unified front in the coming battle).
so ultimately i think 03Raph was coming from a more logical place than Leo in that arc, and it would have been great if Leo had agreed with him instead. uniting the foot under Karai and helping them re-consolidate power in the city may have saved civilian lives at the time, but it made the Turtles' lives significantly harder over the next few years, and it almost destroyed them. ah, the power of hindsight!
07Raph is also correct in a different way. like i said in my earlier post, 07Raph is dealing with a neglectful parent who has left Raph to deal with his brother's absence on his own. by taking up the Nightwatcher mantle, i think 07Raph is trying to relive something he had when all 4 of his brothers were a solid unit. that's the only reason he does what he does; he's just chasing a past he can't get back to, chasing a feeling he hasn't had in a long time. it was a coping mechanism. and yes, it was a dangerous one, but Nightwatcher had the skills to pull it all off, so personally, i don't see anythinng wrong with 07Raph's vigilantism.
i can see how 07Leo would mind it! because it's dangerous! but 07Leo fucked up. he didn't mean to, but he also fucked up. they're just a bunch of fucked up lil guys!!! fucking up all the time!!! i love them so much!!!
