LifeGas helps Kids of Courage enjoy vacation
Young people facing severe medical challenges were able to experience a carefree vacation, thanks in part to the people at LifeGas in Sanford and Orlando, Florida.
LifeGas donated the use of respiratory equipment for 140 special needs children visiting the Orlando, Florida area for a week of summer camp. It was all part of an annual trip sponsored by Kids of Courage, which helps medically challenged children and their families forget about the tubes and pumps and everyday challenges they face.
The children visited Sea World, Universal Studios, Busch Gardens, LegoLand and got to try jet skiing.
LifeGas has offered equipment and expertise to Kids of Courage for several years.
“They are a great organization and well worth the time and effort that everyone puts in to help,” said Kathy Caldwell, a medical sales representative in the LifeGas South Region who helped organize the efforts to help Kids of Courage.
