I can remember when I was in elementary and middle school and we had sciencetists come and we would have an assembly. I always wished we had more hands on projects when I was younger and I think it would have helped me learn a lot better. This idea is great and I wish it was around when I was attending elementary and middle school. I think you guys should check it out and learn more about it.

I think society is in our hands now, because is our generation that is taking care of others generations. So I think we need to provide younger generations the hability to built a better society with projects like this: In KidStarter: Cool STEM-based DIY Courses for Kids, kids deal with science, technology, engineering, etc. They are very creative so it's easy for them have fun building and DIY. One of nowadays problem is that people don't know how to work in a team so they introduce the concept of teamwork. Who doesn't want to contribute to this campaigne, right?
I was browsing IndieGoGo, as I do, and I stumbled upon this campaign right here. The name is what mainly drew me in, it's a good play on words. The organization, however, is actually pretty awesome. It's an instructor-led class for kids using STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) to teach them how the technology we use today runs, and more importantly how to build it themselves one day. I know I'm about to go all hippy on you guys, but this is honestly really important. A lot of kids take for granted the technology they're given, and if they don't take an interest today then we're not going to have great minds tomorrow to make the next big thing. Or the next awesome fighting robot, because we're greatly lacking in those.
