Alright, now my continent has waterways to go with the mountains. I think all that’s left is vegetation and climate zones and then I’m onto towns and cities!

Even if you were (demographically speaking) only a small nation of dragonriders, I still don’t think it would be unreasonable to have dominion over a territory the size of the Sahara... right? Because flying and such.
It’s fun inventing place names using original language... the only downside is that I’ll rarely ever get to use them because of evil linguistic whitewashers the protagonists not speaking it and therefore having their own names for the locations. Case in point, the native “Shutxohhke” (shoe-*click your tongue and pause*-KEH) becomes “the Sundered Nullscape”.
