Today, I do not feel like pulling out my paints to finish the background. And that is okay.
I love markers. I love how much layers you can fit onto one piece. The colored pencil is less fun, but it most certainly pulls the whole piece together and the excitement of seeing the art come to life is worth it.
My wife wants to know why I'm stuck on chestnut tobianos. I dunno. Because ... look at it! It's so pretty!
