Witches, I Need Help

So, I'm experiencing a bit of a paradigm shift/existential crisis and I don't know what I believe in. I believe in magic. I am a witch. But I have no idea as far as deities. I'm having all these questions about life and what's actually real. I don't think I'm an atheist, but I have no idea what I worship. I heard a little about chaos magic and would like to learn more about it. Please help. I have no idea, I just want this void feeling to go away and for some ideas.

I'm that "nice" person/friend that people don't actually like. I'm just so "sweet" and "nice". I'm constantly cheering people on even if it's a losing battle and it fucking sucks because I know they won't like me any more than they do because of it. I just know how shitty it can feel being alive and a human, and I don't want anyone else to feel that way. Part of me says why bother. Quit doing stuff for the sake of recognition, which is a sacred truth. But the optimist and humanist in me is starving to heal wounds and feel slightly better knowing I helped someone in the process.

I'm trying to get over being bitter about what others do with their lives. Whether it's through bad decisions they make that I try to give them advice on (no one listens), or if they just have had better cards and opportunities. Nobody wants to be "that guy", who's never happy for themselves or anybody else. But it's super challenging for me. I don't know if it's past abuse, or being a Scorpio, or an INFJ or what. Anyways, side note, my dad is in the hospital so that's no good. I hope he'll be okay.
