her fingers juggled the red cup steadily, jostling the liquid inside it as an attempt to cease her boredom. the eardrums from within her lobes pumped eagerly in time with the beat of the bass that was booming from the stereos of the cars that lined the perimeter of the trees, creating an uneven circle for the shindig to take place. it was even an hour in and the stubbled grass and dirt was already littered in decoration of used cups, empty liquor bottles and other unmentionables. she could hear laughter from one side of the party and rowdy calls at the other -- each side equally in swing and in light of the party-atmosphere that was taking place. everyone but her. the unsipped cup stayed untouched in her hand, the lip marks that usually were glued to the rim of the iconic red cups were unseen -- she knew she shouldn't be drinking, that was a fact.
her fingers clutched at the hem of her shirt as she placed the undrunken cup on top of one of the many coolers before walking away, she didn't need that -- it definitely wouldn't be healthy. her fingers rose from the hem to wrap against the biceps of her arms as she walked slowly towards the fire only to bump into someone, a muttered apology at her lips as she looked up to bow her head at them (something her mother said was rather respectful in korea). "jonghyo?" her eyes widened in return to the shock of her voice that immediately wound her lips shut as she backed away, trembling lightly at the sight of his face.

it's that time again, my friends -- where our summer daze ends and our school blues begin. like my very popular and ever iconic musical, 'grease 2' sings, "woe is me -- all summer long i was happy and free. save my soul, the board of education took away my parole." and yes, woe is definitely me but it doesn't mean we have to let the nasty system take away our fun. let's have a few more tosses before we get knicked with exams and declarations of failure. what do you say? head over, kick back, relax and 'keg it in the woods'.

(since some people are on hiatus atm, i'm going to let the event go on for a while to allow those who are on hiatus be able to participate as well when they get back!)
details on event?
(well the title should be pretty explanatory but i'll explain anyways. keg = beer, or alcohol in general will be served to the hilt. your character could be the source of the alcohol (the supplying the liquor) or just be a mere attendee of the shindig. there will be loud music playing from the trunks of cars and the comfort of tall oaks and random other trees i can't seem to name and a giant fire in the middle to light up the night. there will be red cups scattered across the floor and laughing and chattering teens and young adults either in fold-out chairs or fallen and cut-up logs that surround the fire. flash-lights will also be found in random places around the area in case someone gets lost or needs to take a quick piss but is too scared of the dark to go. the works, to be honest.)
what if i'm not invited?
(um, don't be silly everyone who is enrolled in xi campus (even if they are either a full-time/part-time/scholarship/whatever other excuse you can come up with/hobo(??)) is allowed to come, they can come stumbling into the party and won't be kicked out unless a fight happens and they need to to stop from causing a scene, yadda yadda -- make the most of this event. this is the event that allows your character to let his/her feelings about the new school year and what they feel for the new year!)
when is school starting?
(school is starting on september 23rd, in three days ~ which is why i decided to do this event because in three days i'm going to allow school scripts and paras be played ! but for now in the 'xi campus' time -- school is officially closed until september 23rd.)
