I love your art especially of Silki! It actually inspired me to make my own self-insert OC to ship with young Silco. We only had crumbs before s2 but yours were and still are the tastiest. I always hoped my art/fics would get popular enough to be noticed by you/sweaty's cave/parm palace, but i've been flopping ever since i first joined tumblr in 2021 (that's no one's fault, I'm just mid). I recently moved into the US this January so it's been a lot of big changes on my end! Slowly but surely finding my feet.

In other news I'm actively working towards a big project with drawlypsy that's been consuming both our lives for the better part of the past year. Hehe.

Would you ever do a tutorial on how you render colors? Your style is amazing!

It's literally been 84 years since I last checked my inbox so I'm sorry for the delay in responding to this! This is such a sweet comment on my art process and you got me blushing uwu

As for a tutorial, to be perfectly honest the way I color is an amalgamation of a bunch of different tutorials I've gone through to figure out what I'm most comfortable with, combined with the age old approach of **I truly am just making it up as I go along**.

I tend to just experiment with colors and palettes that look good to my eyeballs with only very very rudimentary color theory in mind. Pop in a multiply later here, an overlay there, an add layer for spice and you get...whatever it is I do.

As a more helpful tip, one of the artists' videos I watch and implement the most learnings that make sense to me is Marc Brunet on YT. I especially love this tutorial here .
