Fair Game || Kristen & Brandon
Brandon hadn’t been lying - he’d spent a ridiculous amount of time painstakingly staring at the long row of potato chips, trying to decide what she might like best. He’d finally settled on about five different flavors, but he didn’t let her know that. Hopefully his text would get a response that would give him some sort of hint. Finally though, he was on his way, his beloved board game on the passenger seat next to him. He was a fan of board games in general, but Monopoly was a particular favorite, mostly because it gave you a ton of time to hang out with the opponent of your choosing. Being a recent bachelor and his son living primarily with his mother, Brandon sometimes found the empty apartment a little lonely, so he was looking forward to, not just some company, but getting to know Kristen a bit better.
The drive to Kristen’s wasn’t too bad, traffic aside and before long he was pulling into the drive. Checking his reflection in the rearview, he adjusted his hair a bit before grabbing the chips and the game and climbing out to head to her front door. Giving a few solid raps on the wood, he stepped back to wait, looking down at his shirt and self-consciously adjusting his collar. @kikstews
