Whelp, remember what I said in Q2 of the 30 day challenge? dis is pretty impresive
I found this and apparently not only is Kikuchi Masami (best known as Jyou’s voice actor) one of the few people to voice characters for every season of digimon, but he was also able to voice Jyou’s entire family in a cd drama taking place after 02. Even his mother. I managed to find some nearly translated dialogue, but it isn’t specific enough to have actual lines by specific characters written out but anyway, here it is:
Jyou’s mom tells him to pick whatever food he wants. Shin said that he worked hard on his tests. Jyou protests that the tests have just finished and the scores haven’t been posted. Then Shuu says that no one’s going to eat until Jyou does and encourages him to eat. Gomamon starts eating too. Gomamon then asks if Jyou is going to help out at his dad’s hospital. Jyou gets kind of annoyed that he mentioned that. Then his dad tells Jyou not to worry about it, that he won’t force him to help out at the hospital. Shin and Shuu chose their own paths and Jyou can do that too. Then he says Jyou should do what he wants. Then the doorbell rings.
Apparently even the other cast members were shocked.
