He didn’t know what time it was but the fact that there was bright sunlight streaming in through the large coloured windows of the Hall of Fire and he was aching from sleeping on the floor in a none too dignified position told him all he needed to know even if his memories were rather hazy.

Ich bin doch kein Zwergling mehr und schon kein Tier das du schrubben kannst'' knurrte der Zwerg und war von Kopf bis Fuß mit lauter komisch duftenden Badeschaum bedeckt, während er mit Händen und Füßen rumzappelte um sich dagegen zu wehren und blubberte ihm Wasser herum.

Es war schwer zu bestimmen was alles an dem Zwergling klebte. Schmutz der Berge, des Waldes, Gerüche die sogar Thranduil no nie gerochen hatte waren auch dabei. Höchst beunruhigend und der König war erst zufrieden als Kili nur noch nach Zwerg und Lavendel roch. “Ruhe, es ist vollbracht.” verkündete er höchst zufrieden. “Gewaschen und gekämmt sind deine Haare ja höchst ansehnlich.” Elben legten großen Wert auf schöne Haare.
