“Oi------
I know it’s been a while since y’seen me, but tha’s no reason t’stare!”
I AM DYING IN PAPA LION FEELS AND IT'S ALL YOUR FAULT
YES YOU LOT
BUT OH DO I WANT IT.
"Just the dwarrow I wanted to see."
This wouldn't have been one of the quiet carver's greatest ideas, but the feeling of protectiveness which surged through him over his nana Nyr was practically insatiable, and only action would satisfy it.
"Care to tell me why my nana came home crying last night, Prince Kili?"
kilithesecond:
"I’m not-" Kili let out an exasperated sigh, clearly distraught. Running a hand over his face, he tried to speak more properly. "I just-" Why did he always stumble over his words when to came to her?! The prince let out a frustrated sound as he punched a nearby wall.
"You should go." No, he didn’t want her to leave, but he was tired of not being able to form sentences.
"Well, if you aren't either, then what is it?" Why was he always so difficult- Amad constantly warned her of the troubles the male kind brought with them, but never had she imagined it'd be so poignant. "Just say what you wish to say, for once--"
Her eyes widened as his fist met the wall, the movement surprising to the young dwarrow. "Go? How can I be expected to leave when you just punched a wall?" It was obvious something was wrong with the Prince, and now (blame her amad's stubbornness,) she was determined to find out just what it was.
kilithesecond:
"I—I’m sorry. I had to do it, at least once." Kili slowly released her, but still held her gaze. He opened his mouth to say something, but then quickly shut it. Finally, he stepped away from her. "I don’t doubt he will surely try to." Kili forced a half smile, not his typical cheery or charming one. Usually, kissing a dame didn’t mean anything much to him, but this had been different.
"I-" He tried to speak again, but he shook his head, unable to find the words once more. Then, without warning, the princeling bolted off.
What a strange dwarrow, she mused as she watched him curiously; first he pined after her like a motherless pup, and now he kissed her- But he was apologizing? Nyr wasn't quite sure if she understood met yet. She'd have to tactfully ask amad about that (without revealing that she'd had her first kiss, that is).
"Kili-" She isn't quite sure just what it is she wants to say in reply, but it doesn't matter, as she doesn't get the chance- The prince was already off, leaving a very confused Nyr with her very confused thoughts.
