anticapitalist: (detailed critique of capitalism, using backed-up sources and essentially handholding the right on the way to class consciousness) republican: actually capitalism is good because stalin was bad. i'm saying this to you despite you having never mentioned stalin, and because i haven't actually read anything you or anyone else on the left has written. my source for why stalin is so bad is the black book of communism, as in the book whose authors admitted they lied about the numbers to reach their target goal of 100 million. but i wouldn't know that, i don't read! other leftists: (explanation of why death tolls alone are a poor descriptor of how "bad" a country is, and even then, american adventurism into foreign countries has caused more deaths than stalin or other similar regimes) republican: [chanting] communism bad. consumerism good. communism bad. consumerism good.
