11. Walking through a haunted house

"N-No.." He was weak to this kind of thing but it was the last thing he wanted Ryuuko to find out about. "I-I ain’t even scared it just looks dumb!"

"Stay still, Shiki.  Got something for ya." Shiki sat still on the bar stool, confused yet curious.

"What is it...oh!" Shiki felt Ryuuko's hand push something onto her head, and she reached up, only to be stopped by Ryuuko.

"It's a flower.  I randomly picked it brought it in because I thought that maybe you'd like something from outside, since you've had to stay cooped inside HOMRA's base for awhile." Ryuuko handed her a compact mirror and Shiki held it up, admiring the small flower that now adorned her hair.

"Ahhh, thank you, Ryuuko!  It's really pretty, and now I think I can handle staying inside a little bit more." Shiki beamed and gave the older girl a hug.

"You smell like fresh air, Ryuuko..."

"Oi, are you sniffing me?!  Geez...well, you smell like some fruity martini.  The flower will freshen you up then."

Shu/Kougyoku?

Name: Kouta Sakamaki.  Shu would let Yoku pick his name out herself because he is far too lazy to look any up.

Gender: Male

General Appearance: He would get his dad's facial features and blue eyes, and his mom's dark pink hair but it would probably fluff out like his dad's. Unfortunately wouldn't get any of Shu's height so he would only be around 5'5".

Personality: Polite and proper but in reality is almost as lazy as Shu, though he gets his expressiveness from his mom . He has a weak spot for Yoku  so most of his effort comes from wanting to make her happy.

Special Talents: Fencing, since both of his parents are good fencers. 

Who they like better: He would probably have a hard time deciding- he would like Yoku because she would dote on and fuss over him and, but he also likes Shu because he doesn't skimp on buying him anything expensive when he feels like he deserves it and the fact that Shu is piss poor at lecturing him helps.  

Who they take after more: Definitely Shu.

Personal Headcanon: Kougyoku picks out all his clothes for him and styles his hair every now and then and he lets her because he likes seeing her happy!

He’s just staring at her very silently and confused-like, trying to find coherent words to CAREFULLY say what he wants to say. How does one say ‘What the hell’ nicely? Also he’s a guy and does not want flowers in his hair but he doesn't want to come off as rude. 

"Uh, er……..?? Tha— Did you just laugh?!" He should have known she was teasing him.

46. I’m not even jealous.

Ryuuko was one of his good friends by now already and sometimes he’d skate by her place just in case she was about just so they could chat (because he’s way too shy to actually call or text her). So imagine to his surprise and GREAT agitation when he happened upon her being led home with the help of THAT guy. That asshole whose name he.. never actually learned. 

Of course he confronted her about it so it was strange that after some arguing she’d decided to tease him, asking him if he was jealous. Cue the dorky blushing and heavy stuttering but he quickly collected himself. “I’m not even jealous! It’s just.. Fuck that guy!” He grabbed his skateboard, ready to bolt out of her apartment but turned to glare at her. “But if you’d prefer asking him for help then you can just forget askin’ me for any!” 

He knew it was a really childish and shitty thing for him to say but he was so mad he couldn’t think straight. Ignoring anything Ryuuko had to say, Yata flew down the stairs and out of the apartment complex.
