This morning, on Quackdown: SWAN ON PATROL. I headed out this morning to check on the swan nest, and all seems well. Mrs Swanzilla was taking a shift on the nest while her husband was on patrol, keeping the ducks at bay. In maybe 2 or 3 weeks I think we're going to have some baby swans, so have ordered a big sack of duck/swan food in anticipation of lots of squeaky, warbly mouths to feed. This morning, on Quackdown: N.E.S.T. (Newly Ensconced Swan Territory). The Swanzilla family have set up a nest on the edge of the canal, pretty much in someone's back garden. I saw them fixing it up the other day so I thought I'd head out there and see how they were getting on. Swipe for video of Mr Swanzilla on the nest, completing his ablutions, and Mrs Swanzilla a little way down the canal getting breakfast.
