❌ #KilledCovers - I 🖤 @theSandmanofficial Netflix series🖤 Back in 2009, I was approached by DC Comics / Vertigo to redesign their ten volume Trade PB edition covers of #TheSandman @neilhimself. I was given #DaveMcKean’s fantastic cover art to work with. It was a dream job 🙏 I handed in these initial ideas, but sadly, this was not what they were looking for & it went no further. 😿 It’s fine. These things happen. More often than not. I vowed that one day, I WILL get to collaborate with #NeilGaiman again. And he will like me. Ha And that dream did come true when I redesigned & illustrated his backlist books 🙏😸 Good luck with the long road to bring you masterpiece to live action and all the well earned accolades.
