Day 38: had some very big lows and a super high! Nonetheless, these kids are tough given the negative wind chill temperatures at the top of the hill, traversing and then hiking to get to the top of the hill, and then having to send support to a fellow injured athlete (heal fast buddy). For Mason, him along with two other top athletes took a huge spill on gate 7 at the pitch going for it. Following the single one run race weekend they decided to form the “crash group.” Meila on the other hand #outperformed all #expectations and #ripped a 47 second run in the U10. Only one other U10 athlete barely beat the 50 second mark, with all other u10 athletes starting at 51 seconds. Congrats Meila...you #killedthatrun !!! Also, Congrats to @sugarbowlskiteam who took most of the #topspots this one run race weekend in #mammothmountain ! Go #sugarbowlresort !! #sofast #fastskier #sendit #bestteam (at Mammoth Mountain) https://www.instagram.com/p/B7Q201GFIgO/?igshid=d4kuqiz9xyun
