Alright so this is a little special and requires more of an explaining lol

So I had this idea for a story. It started off as a hacking and slashing ballerina. I just liked the idea of combining sword flighting with ballet. Random thought much? Haha. Sorry for the bad ballet shoes. I tried OTL.

This is Kerine (Care-een) a 17 year old aspiring ballet dancer. Lives in a small town with her father, mother, younger brother and younger sister. She had gone off to a grand city to preform and hopefully get accepted into a prestigious school. Her little sister Elise (8), who wants to be like her older sister, accompanied her to her preformance. Kerine did wonderfully and was definitely going to get into the best school. However when she and Elise returned they were devasted. Blood and corpses were everywhere. Their entire town had been wiped out. They hurried to their house to see if anybody was still alive. But unfortunately no one survived. Just as they were about to leave Kerine saw one of the creatures (I know lame but I don't have a name for it yet) outside her house. She grabbed one of her brothers collectors swords and, in a fit of rage, was determined to kill the creature.

The creature nearly cut Kerine to pieces. Until Kerine had an idea. Why not combine the swift grace of ballet and sword fighting? It might just be enough to keep her and Elise alive. Suddenly she was dodging all of the creatures moves. Moving gracefully in pirouettes. It was enough, as the creature now layed dead. Kerine, covered in blood, went down the the creek that was nearby. She washed off her blood and glanced at her reflection. She knew that her previous life was over, there was no going back. Using the sword she cut off her hair, no longer fit for battle.

She returned to Elise and told her to grab a bag and fill it with anything they would need. Kerine went to her dresser and pulled out the first outfit she preformed in, a simple blue tutu outfit. As her beautiful white and gold outfit was stained in blood. Before they left they burned their family's bodies along with Kerine's previous outfit in their house. They didn't want anyone else touching their things.

Over the course of a few months Kerine became famous, dubbed the "Killerina" for killing so many of the creatures with her ballet sword fighting.

Sooooooo I essentially got the first part of the story down. Still need a name for the "creatures" and overall more development for the enemy side. Because later on something really drastic happens ;D
