Yun had seen him do the same thing at lunch since the first day at school. Go to the corner of the lunch room, and sit and read or work. No lunch to be seen, and he never got in the lunch line.
He was two years younger than her from what she could get from the kids in her class. He didn’t seem to have many friends and kept to himself. But he was really good at school, so a lotta people called him a nerd. She never understood that.
After about two weeks seeing him alone and lunchless, she decided to take action. She informed her mother about the boy and asked if she could make a second lunch for him, which her mother gladly agreed to.
So, now with a paper bag in one hand and her Sailor Moon lunch box in the other, she went over to the boy and plopped the bagged lunch down on the homework he was working on before sitting across from him.
