BROADWAY OYSTER BAR

St. Louis artist Jason Spencer studied fine art at local college, but with a wide range of creative passions that range from illustration and painting to sculpture and apparel design, he started Killer Napkins to provide a big enough umbrella to cover his interests. While his work typically incorporates a strange mix of cute and horrific, this fun 2017 work was done for Pabst Blue Ribbon at Broadway Oyster Bar on Gratiot St. in St. Louis. Eschewing traditional advertising PBR promotional strategy has included sponsoring artwork for a number of bars across the country and this painting celebrates the cuisine and jazz traditions of a St. Louis establishment that looks, sounds, and even smells, like it could have been transplanted straight from the streets of New Orleans. @killernapkins @oysterbarstl @pbr_art
