It was not even past noon when the Rokubantai Taichō made his way toward Nibantai grounds. In his hands, a few papers that needed to be transferred to said division.

He could've sent his fukutaichō or a subordinate to do such a job. And yet, Byakuya didn't see fault in visiting his fellow taicho for this occasion. He rarely left his post for such mundane things, and once in a while was very acceptable.

The noble earned a few glances as he strode along the Seireitei streets, yet he barely made any sign that he acknowledged them. He simply kept going; reaching his destination in a few minutes. Guards greeted him at the entrance. After voicing his purpose, he was let passed. Finding himself in front of the shoji door, his voice rang out as he awaited admittance to enter the room.

" Suì-Fēng Taichō, may I enter? "
