Many men of his stature owned dogs, but Killian was never really a dog person. Not because he hated them, he just didn't see himself as a dog person. Always clingy, always needy, always taking over the bed space? But cats however, were more independent. Perhaps like himself? He didn't need anyone at his side constantly to feel validated, just like a feline. They practically cared for themselves and if comfort was needed, they'd sit in your lap without taking up too much space.
Tonight his Tabby cat wasn't feeling so well. He could tell just by the way he refused to move from his own bed. In fact he hadn't even seen him eat and that concerned Killian greatly. So with a blanket wrapped protectively around the orange tabby, Killian was headed out in the pouring rain at 8 in the evening to the first veterinary clinic he could find that was opened late that night.
Upon juggling for addresses on his phone while steering the wheel, he safely found a clinic about fifteen minutes from where he resided and as soon as he reached there, he put his car into a crappy parking space, taking up at least two parking spaces before heading out of the car.
His cat was engulfed in his arms as he hunched over him as the rain came down on him, but once inside the clinic, he straightened up. He walked up to the only receptionist for the night and with wet arms reached over for a pen. "Is there anyone available now?" he asked because while the lobby was empty, he wasn't sure if that just meant there were patients inside. He knew the process, you signed in, and then waited while forms were given to you to fill out.
When the receptionist gave him an estimate of twenty minutes, he just nodded and grabbed the forms that were handed to him. He wasn't really planning on filling them out while Garfield was sick. He'd wait until later, for now he took a seat with the forms and pen placed on the empty seat beside him.
"Maybe just the rain. Maybe you have a small cold. Regardless it'll teach you not to go out during the cold nights." he chastised, as if the cat would understand a word he was saying.
Would you have preferred Killian to have stayed in Charleston and left you alone?
“If that were the case, then I would have found a way to let him know that I didn’t wish to see him again. It’s a bit more complicated than that. My feelings towards him... they’re a bit more complicated too.” @killianpyle

KILLIAN GAFFNEY
FIFTY TWO, IRISH, LAW PROFESSOR, HOMOSEXUAL CHARISMATIC, FOCUSED, INTERESTING, VAIN, DIRTY, SLOPPY
At the forefront of civil movements, Killian has always been a little too intense. He is one of those professors who has a reputation around the campus for being too loud and too vocal. He is everyone’s fuck in student’s run Fuck Marry Kill games, and he knows it. By the way he smile, dragging the cigarrette to his lips as he smoke outside the classroom, he definitely knows what they are talking about. He even pops open an extra button in his shirt for their benefit.
And he is always the most charming one at the pub, hanging out with his colleagues. They are almost falling in line to get a chance with him. Killian is a man of the people, and one by one they had their time with him. No one held him down for over a night though; he isn’t the settling type.
send me a FC and i’ll make up a character on the spot
