Friends abroad, UK friends from the 80's. I need a hand, a little help from my mates. In 1984 Echo and the Bunnymen released a live Albert Hall version of The Killing Moon, and the second verse has alternate lyrics I want to decode. I hear this: "Under lit sun he sung one, down down to Doughton. Dipped her I won't forget you, pearls entwined in pearls. The killing moon will come too soon". The version is on YouTube, I'm sure about parts but "Dipped her" is my most unsure. Don't know if it's English slang. Help!!
