Hey, Anon, it's possible you're no longer on this hellsite (affectionate) but I wanted to let you know that your message brought me a lot of joy when you sent it and in the years following whenever I opened my messages.
(This is in regards to a Killjoys smut fic, "He seemed into sacrifice." Originally it was titled "He seemed pretty into sacrifice." because I got Alvis's line wrong.)
It's actually been a major source of pride for me that for a long time that fic and my Killjoys longfic remained my top fic by hits and kudos on AO3. They still might be in fact. Those were posted in 2015 and 2016! I did a ton of research on knife play and blood play for that fic. I learned a fair bit about kinks. I'm so flattered people enjoyed it.
I promised a follow up to the longfic but I don't see how that will ever happen. I felt a lot of dismay at the trajectory some of those characters took. I thought that for a show which had a very queer heritage (the showrunner had previously worked on Lost Girl), it really pulled the punches.
Anyway, I'm still really proud of that fic and I wanted to thank you for your message, even if it's super belated.
I am going to keep saying words until you stop me, so
