Deleting files in an emergency

In an emergency, or case of theft of your device with important files, it might be necessary to quickly remove data from your laptop or cell phone from a distance and without logging in. Numerous technology companies provide some solution for remote removal of files or device shutdown, such as AbsoluteSoftware’s Absolute Computrace.
