Announcement: Game of Thrones Review(s)

When starting this blog, I knew I didn’t want to pigeon-hole myself into specializing and/or featuring one specific thing that is of interest to me.  That is to say, I didn’t want to merely be considered as a blog that strictly posts about films, TV shows that I am crazy about--particularly Game of Thrones, all things French or even all things vintage.  I love all of these things in equal measure, and try to immerse myself in these interests in a somewhat balanced way both on and offline.  My overall goal is to create a “delightfully eccentric” blog, making it an online representation of myself and my many interests.  

As a part of this goal and to satisfy my desire to participate in and facilitate conversation about the Game of Thrones television show, I have decided to begin writing reviews of each episode.  I tend to be extremely detailed in my writing, so I will spare all of you the trouble and try to keep these reviews on the short side.  Since I just started my blog a mere two days ago, I am going to first write about tonight’s episode, “Kill the Boy,” and go from there.   

A part of me wants to keep notes of my live, raw reaction as I watch the episode for the first time, but another part of me wants to keep all of my attention towards the show so I don’t miss all of those wonderful subtle moments of which Game of Thrones is so abundant.  I suppose I will figure out  how I want to structure my reviews as I go along! 

I plan to have my first review up either late tonight or early tomorrow morning.

Apparently this is my best so far and I can't tell if the people telling me that are just huge fans of Nicki or if the one eye (right - they haven't seen the progress yet) is just really good.
