Hi um okay so I had a question? Is it considered a hallucination if you sort of hear voices but not actual words? And it's not just random voices, I can place exactly whose voice it is (it's always someone I know) and they don't say anything cruel or hurtful it's just indecipherable chatter/my name or "hello"

Auditory hallucinations are when you hear something that is not there, they don’t necessarily have to be clear or even hurtful words, they sometimes even can be positive things, although its not the majority of cases. You should ask a professional about this because what you’re experiencing seems to be a hallucination.
