Help DAVID TOLMIE raise money to support Marie Curie

Hi there everyone, I am doing the Kiltwalk on September 15th, a twenty Mile walk through Edinburgh. I am raising money for Marie Curie and very worthwhile cause that provide end of life care, help and support for anyone with an illness . I have known a number of people who have used the Hospice at Frogston Road in Edinburgh, my own mother passed away there.

Please any little you can donate would be very much appreciated.

Thank you to everyone who donated to me for doing the kiltwalk! It was great fun despite my little scare on the tram on the way back where my blood pressure dropped and I passed out. Grateful to the nurse who had also just completed the kiltwalk that helped me ❤️‍🩹 the blisters were worth it

It was only 7.32 miles but I am pan breed (Scottish slang for dead). We managed to get to all 8 cairns even though we very nearly missed the first one.

Everyone knows that last year was difficult for people’s mental health and personally, I really struggled. Thankfully through support from my family and friends and utilising mental health support from NHS Scotland, I came out the other side. So today I raised money for the Scottish Association for Mental Health. I know 7.32 miles doesn’t sound like a lot but for someone who has lived with rheumatoid arthritis for the past eight years and who’s knees were absolutely obliterated by the end of the walk, I’m v proud of myself. And always proud to support SAMH.
