the children’s museum i grew up going to had this water clock
and on the hour you could watch the minute glasses empty into the hour bulb and i think five would fucking LOVE that
he also has a lot of cars in his room so i think any kind of car or train exhibits would fascinate him

i honestly immediately thought this was plausible in that something about the popup might have created an issue, but then i remembered something:
i had a stylish script installed that swapped the post and close buttons so that post was on the left. disabling this script seems to have fixed it.
