my crazy and wild hc (which im writing a fic about) is that Kim and Stephanie have more history with one another than just the arms length dance incident

no straight person kisses someone in an uber conservative town as a "prank" just for someone elses attention tbr. i strongly believe kim is bisexual and, (this is my big hc here.) for reasons we dont know, is doing this to spite Stephanie or because Kim herself is confused with her identity and feelings and opts for karl as a boyfriend because its easier and she doesn't have to think about it.

i personally like to think they were friends for a while too because why would they hang out at stephs house otherwise? i think theres just so much we didnt get to find out.

Maybe shes saying that because she still had other positive memories with Kim that messed with how she viewed her relationship with her. I dont think Stephanir would fall for a girl over one kiss...plus she had the song thought out for a while. its something (or someone) thats really impacted her long enough to keep singing that song in her adult years.

I really think theres so much more to them....
