You can taste Korean and Italian flavors in this Kimchi and Bacon Pizza. The sour and spicy kimchi goes well with the salty bacon on a cheesy pizza base. It's an exciting and different way to eat pizza!
Ingredients: 1 pizza dough. 1/2 cup tomato sauce. 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded. 1/2 cup kimchi, chopped. 4 slices of bacon, cooked and crumbled. 1/4 cup red onion, thinly sliced. 2 tablespoons olive oil. 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes optional. Fresh cilantro leaves for garnish. Salt and black pepper to taste.
Instructions: Set your oven to 475F 245C before you start cooking. On a floured surface, roll out the pizza dough to the thickness you want. Put the dough on a baking sheet or pizza stone. Use olive oil to keep the dough from getting too wet. Place the tomato sauce on top of the dough, making sure to leave a border for the crust. Add the chopped mozzarella cheese on top of the tomato sauce. Spread the chopped kimchi and bacon pieces out evenly on top of the cheese. To make it taste even better, add sliced red onions. Add red pepper flakes to the pizza if you like it hot. To taste, add salt and black pepper. It should be baked in a hot oven for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly and a little browned. Take it out of the oven and let it cool for one minute before cutting it. Add some fresh cilantro leaves as a garnish to make it taste even better. Cut your Kimchi and Bacon Pizza into pieces, serve it, and enjoy!
