Last week we interviewed two 20 years old girls who go to the UPEM. They are friends but so different. They are in the same class which is actually… our class. We like to say that they are like the yin and the yang: different but close at the same time.
For example, Fatima is a person who loves to stay at home watching series or movies on Netflix, whereas Aurelie just loves to go outside to hang out with her friends. So we asked them their typical days and it resulted that they were opposed in the way they lived their life:
First, Fatima is always the first to arrive in class. And guess what…Aurelie is ALWAYS late!
Secondly, Fatima is an introverted person and Aurelie is not at all.
Thirdly, Fatima is lazy and Aurelie… definitively not.
So it is undeniable that these 2 girls are really different but… they have common points that make their friendship possible and beautiful. Indeed, they both like music and series. They like debating and they have the same humor. But the thing that keeps them so close is THE FOOD. Actually, they both have a passion for food: they always want to eat in restaurants or fast-food. And when it’s about this topic they are the same. This shows that different people who have a different rhythm of life can have a pretty friendship …!
